Alcohol dampening unit

In the printing environment, the demand for high-quality printed products is constantly increasing. Only premium quality dampening rollers are able to consistently transfer uniform amounts of dampening solution under complex modern-day printing conditions.

The compound range EURODAMP demonstrates outstanding results during application of dampening solutions because of its hydrophilic surface structure. During development of this compound a specific emphasis was placed on optimizing the conductivity of the dampening solution.

Alcohol free dampening unit

The properties of dampening solutions are changing dramatically due to the elimination / distinct reduction of the amount of Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) used. The results of these changes range from a decrease in transport qualities to an instability of the dampening solution transmission.

The dampening roller system EURODAMP-NG, in combination with EURODAMP-SC, has been specially designed for the reduction and eventual elimination of IPA. The dampening roller compound EURODAMP-NG (New Generation) has an essential function in that it evenly distributes the dampening solution at an optimal level over the entire surface of the roller. The special ink-repelling properties of EURODAMP-SC (Self Clean) allow for all Meter, Pan and Ductor rollers to continuously maintain the necessary levels of dampening solution required for optimal printing.
